Can my household have more than one Lifeline phone?

No — Lifeline service is non-transferable and limited to one benefit per household.

What “one per household” means

A household is everyone who lives together and shares income and expenses. Even if more than one person in the household is eligible, only one Lifeline-supported line is allowed.

Same address, separate households

If two independent households share an address (for example, roommates who don’t share expenses), each may qualify by completing a Lifeline household worksheet.

Enter your ZIP code to check eligibility for your household.
